Lone Star Civil website

The official website of Lone Star Civil. I built the whole system, front end and back end.

The Lone Star Civil home page on a desktop screen: the company name in large white type over a photo of a road grader on a building site, with a red Contact Us button.

Full-stack engineer

What it is

The official website of Lone Star Civil, a construction company in San Antonio, Texas.

What I did

I built it full stack, on my own.

  • Built the front end in Next.js.
  • Built the back end in Laravel, with a MySQL database.

What it looks like

It is live at lonestarcivil.org (opens in a new tab), so you can open it and click around. These are a few of its pages.

The expertise page: a banner photo of two surveyors with the headline Get the Best Industry Experience and a Contact Us button, over three panels named Underground Utilities, General Contractor and Earthwork.
The expertise page: what the company does, up front.
The careers page: the heading Job Opportunities over four cards for open roles, Equipment Operator, Foreman, Labor and Pipe Layer, each with a job-site photo and an Apply Now button. Below them, a button to upload a résumé and join the waiting list.
The careers page. Each open role has its own Apply Now, and anyone can join a waiting list by uploading a résumé.

On a phone, the same pages rearrange themselves into one column.

The home page on a phone: the logo and a menu button on top, a welcome headline over a building-site photo, a Contact Us button, and a row of three certification badges below.
The home page on a phone.
The Active Projects page on a phone: a blue banner with a welcome headline, then a project card with an aerial photo of a park playground.
Active projects, one page for each.
